The Seahawks go down to SanFran to face Darrel Jackson and poor passing Alex Smith. I'm much less concerned about Gore (who crushed the Hawks last year) after last weeks performance stopping the run.

Mo Morris is back from his injury which should mean a more effecient Alexander (11 TDs in 10 games against the 9ers).

Hawks have the #12 Pass Offense, #17 Rush Offense, #30 Pass Defense, #16 Run Defense.
49ers have 31 Pass Offense, 22 Rush Offense, #11 Pass Defense, #25 Run Defense

Look for a big performance from the Seattle secondary and Shaun Alexander.

1-2 Cardinals host Pittsburgh
0-3 Rams @ Dallas

This is another week that could be key for the division title as the winner is likely to be two games up on Arizona.

What I've seen early is Shaun Alexander continuing to struggle early, a Mack Strong that seems ageless, a Leonard Weaver who is more hype than substance and my favorite thing of all

Seneca Wallace in at Wide Receiver catching a pass on a well run timing route.

Seahawks winning the field position battle and lead the game with a Josh Brown Field Goal. That's why he's a franchise player.

Also seems quite odd to see former Hawk Trent Dilfer passing to former Hawk Darrell Jackson.

Dieon Branch is looking very good. This reciever corp may not be the best, but it is likely one of the deepest.

End around for Seneca Wallace, in again as a WR. He didn't get to turn the corner, loss of one, but he keeps showing up.

I guess Frye has started to learn the playbook.

Brown with another short FG: 13 - 0

In other division games: StLouis got crushed and their chance for the division crown is basically done. Arizona is currently down 7.

13 - 0 Seahawks

Impressive performances on defense with 6 total sacks and 5 forced fumbles.

The only performance by the 49ers that positively compares to any Seattle player is from Frank Gore with his 32 yards on 7 rushes as well as 22 yards on 1 catch.

Matt has almost 15 yards per completion.

and now 20 - NOTHING Seahawks lead.

SanFran had a successful onside kick to start the second half, but then a great play by Marcus Trufant gets the ball back for Seattle. Excellent ball distribution amongst receivers, backs and tightends today.

This game has been a defensive clinic. Excellent control of everything but Gore's running game which has been good, but not exceptional.
