Silly Goose, we already got our "more than competent bat". I cant believe you forgot about Willie Bloomquist already.

With those reasons, im gonna say we're making a trade for Johan Santana. Hey, im gonna end up disappointed either way...might as well aim high! : D.

I imagine the M's will wait for the Igawa results before pulling the trigger on any major trade.

Sexson seems a good bet to go...

hopefully tomorrow but I saw that they extended the bidding through today cause of the holiday so who knows.

It probably won't be made public until Friday or Saturday, but I promise, you'll all know whether the Mariners won the bidding on Igawa or not by this time tomorrow.
