Yes, that's the same Dayn who wrote this 24 days ago: Quote:
Although, in all seriousness, like any year and in this division in particular, if things "go right" for any one team, the AL West title is theirs.

Along with his first name, I find Dayn's two quotations funny. I wonder what happened over the last 24 days -- surely it wasn't the M's start (W-L record) in ST -- to make Dayn do a complete reversal. I guess, however, he's on record now for saying the 2007 Mariners are both "not to be taken seriously" and "to be taken seriously." So by season's end, he'll be both right and wrong. One consistency between both of Dayn's pieces that I enjoy, however: the suggestion that this could be Felix's year. It's not revolutionary projection. Felix has long -- it seems -- been picked to dominate some year. Man, I would love to see Felix dominate this season. That -- or contending -- would certainly be reason to watch.

I, er, sort of believe it... or maybe don't mind believing in it, but...
the echoing headlines are strange.... Stone couldn't come up with a headline better than Perry's in a week? ![]() ![]()
