If you had access to the club house, what is it you would want to know? Do you think the mentality of the players is important? Would balancing making those things public and your relationship with the players matter?

I would want to know about how the players feel about the team and the season. Yes. I would balance it out just because if you say something bad, they won`t ever talk or use you again. Im taking a news writting class so i know this heh.

The beat reporter who virtually lives with the team, should not become the story. The players are entitled to personal lives and a degree of privacy when they are not between the lines. The newspapers employ multiple people who write about the team, have occassional access to players and coaches and are free to make critical remarks that the embedded beat reporter can not and should not.
