The team just got better.
J, have you seen a list of non-tenders?

Rotoworld has been throwing them out team by team. It's not a list per say, but somebody could make one by going through their transaction files.
How long until Gillick gives him a 2 year $15 million contract? He seems to have a thing for former Mariners pitchers that were around during his time.

I haven't seen a complete list yet, but ESPN apprears to be updating this one with some regularity...
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2695524 On the list currently... Detroit Tigers: OF Alexis Gomez Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim: RHP Jason Bulger New York Mets: RHP Victor Zambrano (Kazmir trade hurts much more now) New York Yankees: OF Aaron Guiel Seattle Mariners: RHP Joel Pineiro Others I've seen around, Jon Knott for the Padres, Tsao for the Rockies, Marcus Giles and Chris Reitsma with the Braves, Claussen for the Reds... Tsao would be interesting, if healthy. Last edited by JFromSeattle; December 12th, 2006 at 07:18 PM. |

Tsao I have liked for some time
M.Giles woud be worth a look, supposedly he's got off field issues though.

Giles would be a better backup MI than Bloomquist would be.
I wouldn't mind Giles on the bench whatsoever on a cheap NRI style contract.

Ankiel, Guiel, Hollins might all be nice options for back-up OF/DH roles.
Tsao would be my favorite in the relief role.
