The indians sorta used that approach with Victor Martinez and it worked out ok for him ya think?

He caught a handful of games a week and DH/1B the other. He's by far from the worst fielding catcher in baseball now.

In light of today's announced Johjima extension, i guess the johk's on us.

Just brutal. Three decent to great catching talents in the system and they lock in the old guy with fading old guy skills.

Bring UP CLEMENT NOW!!!

I needed a vaction, and then work changed substantially. I'm over 50 hour weeks, plus two hours a day of commuting time. A few weeks ago I launched my own blog about Seattle Sounders FC and Life in Puget Sound. I won't be by these parts often as my focus has changed. Sorry about the unannounced retirement.
