That's disgusting! What has Horacio shown... ever? A few years back, when Soriano was healthier, he was a top 5 reliever... He was getting back to that level too... imho. I woulda rather had Soriano try starting.

Of himself, Ramirez is not that bad a pick up in my opinion - but I expected a lot more. Could we not have at least go LaRoche (apparently they're swapping him for Mike Gonzalez). Then we could have traded Sexson for pitching.
As it is we now can't trade Putz - our pitching still sucks - and we're a major trade chip down.
God I'm depressed

I had 3 favorite Mariners in the organization.

They trade Asdrubal Cabrera for crap...yes he had no future here, but we coulda done better than that.

I find it funny they say Boston was asking ludicrous stuff for Ramirez, yet the Braves aren't for their Ramirez? The way our team perceivers value, maybe King Felix isn't untradeable afterall. King Felix' value would prolly be perfect to get Julian Tavarez!
