well if it's for 1-3 mill then sure - why not. if its for a substantial amount - seems a huge risk for a guy that is way to injury prone. Ofcourse if you look back at his career you can see he's due for another injury free season so hopefully this one is it.

I like John Thompson. I saw him pitch at Safeco in an inter-league matchup and I liked what I saw. Of course it all comes down to his health.

It could pay off if JT can play well late in the rotation, it better be a cheap deal though, he could be off the roster by the end of ST but he could just as easily be on the team throughout the season. Don't like the move it's too hard to predict what will happen with him.
