Sharks acquire Bill Guerin

And for a pretty good price. Neminen wasn't doing much for us this year, and Barriball was likely to be stuck in our depth chart for a long time. I'm a little bummed about not having a first round pick next season after the Rivet deal, though.

Excellent trade for Sanjose. Guerin will look excellent playing with Thornton or Marleau.

Guerin hasn't done a whole lot out there since the trade, but then again, the team just got Marleau back. I'm really anxious to see how he does with a full roster.

Rivet has been a very nice acquisition so far. Steady, smart passes. Looks like he's just what this young team needed.

Well, he's been pretty invisible against Detroit. Rivet is turning out to be a much better acquisition than Guerin.
