The latest buzz created by a New York report is that the Boston Celtics have offered everyone on their roster in an attempt to acquire Pau Gasol... Well-placed league insiders say the Grizzlies could do a deal that would send Mike Miller to the Los Angeles Clippers for Corey Maggette.

Wow, I know its Gasol and all but im shocked that the Celtics would give up jefferson....I guess you have to do it though to get Gasol

Yes, anyway I don't think Gasol wants to be traded to Boston... The Celtics are not what I call a "contender" ...where he would like to play

Boston is more of a "contender" than MEmphis, and are in a better market that can grow and expand.
gasol is a top tre center.

Memphis needs to get their marbles straight

Next year a HEALTHY Celtic team, along w/ the progression of the youngsters.....assuming they get 1 of the 3 ( Gasol, Oden, Durant ) They should be contenders in the East

Hey grizzule!

Boston is a better franchise than Memphis in my opin, and has a brighter upside.

They also have more fan support and a better legacy and the east is way easier to win in than the west so boston could easily be contenders next season.

Laugh at me now...because Boston is on a 15 game losing strak, but you will see. Gasol also expressed interest.

Ok Boston has more NBA history than Memphis, but... does Gasol want to be in a team under construction? this year's season is lost, and he wants a team to be a lock in playoffs! Chicago from my point of view is the one thar has all Memphis wants: 2007 lottery picks (knicks), expiring contracts (Brown, Sweetney...) and rising stars such as Deng and Gordon.

Maybe Brown, Allen and Deng shoud be enough for Gasol or maybe Brown, Allen, Sweetney + Knicks 2007 pick. Salaries match in both options!

Anyway I understand Boston is a them where everybody would like to play because of his history.

pau gasol will probably go to chicago. he will be a good fit.there lineup will be insane. when the bulls faced the suns brown and nocioni didnt play. that could mean that the trade with gasol could be happening very soon. gasol is not going to want to go to the celtics just because there either getting durant, or oden.
