KG to opt out ?

After making comments that suggested he wasn't happy with Minnesota's lack of activity at the trade deadline, Kevin Garnett implied that he wouldn't be with the team after next season.

"Thank God for opt-outs," he said as he finished a short interview. Garnett has a clause that allows him to opt out of his contract after the 2007-08 season, and unless the Timberwolves turn things around in a hurry, it seems pretty likely to happen.

I know KG has been disgruntled for a couple of years now with the Wolves lack of player movement, I guess this year was the final straw...

But what if the Wolves keep control of the 8th spot and sneak in the playoffs, would KG really opt out ???
