Default Artest for Maggette trade rumor

Quote:
The Kings apparently are having problems with swingman Ron Artest, and Corey Maggette is eager to play elsewhere because of his poor relationship with Clippers Coach Mike Dunleavy.

An Artest-Maggette trade could be just what each team needs, and sources said the Clippers and Kings are motivated to move quickly.

Clippers would be getting the better of this deal on paper but Artest must really be a hard player to have on a team. Because franchises seem to sour on him fast.

Yea, i post that in the thread below this....

But I just dont understand why Sacro would settle for just CMags. There is no doubt they could get more for Artest. Who is 1 of the best 15-20 players in the game right now, IMO, in terms of all around game.

I really wish my Knicks would somehow put a package together to get him. Something centered around Frye or Crawford maybe ?

With the Clippers owning 2 1st round picks this draft, I'm assuming the Kings are trying to pry 1 of those picks away in any Artest/Maggettes swap...
