Default NCAA Hockey

Okay, let's talk college hockey.

As I write this, Minnesota is on its way to winning the annual Thanksgiving weekend College Hockey Showcase (which features Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Michigan State). The Gophs beat MSU last night 5-4 (I was there even). Right now with 3 minutes left to go in tonight's game against Michigan, the socre is 8-2 Minnesota...complete with not just one, but THREE shorthanded goals.

Wisconsin lost last night 4-3 to Michigan...can't see how they're playing against MSU right now, since our dish has it blacked out.

Looks like the WCHA again has the best chance of taking home the NCAA trophy this year.

Extremely dominant performance last night by the Gophers. 3 shorthanded goals? The Gophers are starting to demonstrate why they're the #1 ranked team in the nation. So many weapons...and most of them are Freshman! GO GOPHERS!!!
