I love the crack of the binding when you first open a hardcover book.
I don't see how Voracek and Espo are so highly rated. IMHO, neither is as good as they are thought to be, and with the defensive depth in this draft, trading down would be a significantly better option. Would you believe, I screwed up the first post in this sub-forum and wrote hardcore instead of hardcover?

What's the general consensus on the 2007 draft? Is it going to be average or maybe a little weak?
I think 1999's draft was one of the worst I can remember... (really weak other than the Sedin twins, the Marty's: Havlat & Erat, and I suppose Mike Comrie) |

Extremely deep in d-men.
If there weren't a bias that it is necessary to have around 22 forwards, there could probably be 10-15 first round defensemen. The forward crop is iffy. None are polished products.
