I don't know much about him, I'll ask the Mariners board for that, but I guess he's worth a shot.

Little Nomar is pretty much an utility player. He's got little to no power, but he does have decent on base skills and can play both MI positions well.
What is with Gillick's obsession with collecting cast off Mariners?

Little Nomar has been assigned to AA Reading. He chould be a cheap option in a couple months if he tears it up in the minors, and we could trade Abe horrible Nunez for some pitching.
Gillick has gotten several former Mariner players back: SP Freddy Garcia IF Greg Dobbs IF Michael Garciaparra SP Jamie Moyer
