Opening Series observations
Hey everyone, I would like to get your opinions on the opening series. Here is my opinion:
The Phillies starting pitching was great in the 1st 2 games. In the 3rd game, Eaton stunk, but the bullpen did fine. The offense is a bit of a concern even though they do have some hits this afternoon most of them singles. 1 word that I would describe the series: INCONSISTENT. Off to Florida for a weekend series against the Fish. The Series thread will be up in the morning.

first two games starters deserved to win. eaton stunk out the joint ( to be honest i wasnt surprised) the relievers so far besides condrey better get the ball down or its going to be a long year
i think it was kind of dumb taking utley out of the 3 hole for the 1st 2 games also |

In addition, the following players had decent/good series:
J-Roll hit .364 with 1 homerun and 1 RBI Pat Burrell hit .364 with 0 HR and 1 RBI Chase Utley hit .357 with 0 HR and O RBI Carlos Ruiz .375 1 HR and 1 RBI Pitchers: Cole Hamels, Clay Condrey, and Brett Myers all qualify for having a great outing/outings.
