1915: Having arrived north from spring training, several Phillies attend Easter Sunday services at the Central Presbyterian Church. Dave Bancroft, Bert Niehoff, and Ed Mattison attended the service where U.S. President Woodrow Wilson was also in attendance.
1971: Philadelphia officially dedicated Veterans Stadium with a workout featuring the Phillies and Eagles and the unveiling of plaque honoring the city's military vets.
