Roster situation

Hey guys, what types of moves are the Phillies gonna make this week? This team is still in limbo right now with the injuries to Freddy Garcia, Jon Lieber and Carlos Ruiz, as well as Chris Coste. This will be a very interesting week. The final 25 man roster has to be set by 3 pm next Sunday. It will be no April fool's joke, if some of these kids like Michael Bourn make the final 25 man roster. Also depending on the status of Lieber and Garcia J.A. Happ or Zach Segovia might get a chance to start.

i wouldnt mind seeing bourn on the roster.. it looks like management has been trying to find a way to not have coste on the roster since last oct so i wouldnt be surprised if he is gone

I know Texas is interested in Coste, but Coste needs to get healthy first. It wouldn't surprise me if Gillick makes another deal with Texas. Him and Jon Daniels are good trading buddies, most of the moves have helped Texas more than the Phillies.

coste really came thru down the stretch for us last season w/ some big plays i hope he stays

I hope Coste stays too, the chances of him sticking around are looking increasingly likely with Carlos Ruiz being out.
