For 8 years and about 130 million? That's crazy... I really wished we got him, but I wouldn't have signed him to that contract. Let's go after Carlos Lee and Johnny Estrada.... I would have like Blalock too

yeah the Cubs gave him way way too much money. Let Gillick spend the money somewhere else.

I hope the back up plan is not to have Burrell in left Field and Victorino/Conine in right. I hope we go after Preston Wilson if we can't get Lee.

Only a few players can perform at that age and still even be worth that kind of money.
