Gordon almost choked on Monday too. Charlie should have went to Alfonseca, or Bienscius, or Condrey. Do you really think they could have done any worse than what Madson did?

Yeah he did. That's a bright spot. I hope he doesn't get sent down anytime soon. He almost tied his career high in strikeouts.

I am glad we didn't have to use the bullpen much in the game last night. I wouldn't mind using those guys, Condrey, Alfonseca and Geary. Stay away from close games, and that means staying away from Gordon and Madson.

Yeah that's true, but I agree with what Kruk said on baseball tonight: "A Change of scenery would do wonders for this guy, and I think he can become a dominant closer again".

I'll take Lidge if they are willing to take Lieber's contract or take Coste or Barajas off our hands. I do not want to give up any of the young pitching in our farm system.

nope, Jaramillo is in Scranton I believe. He's like another Lieberthal. He can handle the staff, great defensive catcher, but his offensive skills are a question mark.
