Yep he does. He doesn't have to be kept on the 25 man roster like last year.

The Philllies don't need to move him at all. He would be MUCH more valuable in the bullpen helping the big league club. I think he is a better pitcher at this point then Matt Smith, and I wouldn't put him down at all....

He's definitely more useful as a middle reliever I guess, just don't use him as a lefty specialist, he needs to pitch a few times a week.

he needs to get work. if we can get him out there a few times a week than he should stay. but if he is going to rot out in the bull pen he needs to go to aaa and eat up some innings

Keep him in the pen unless we trade Lieber for a reliever, and then put Castro in AAA in the rotation, so we could have someone decent to call up instead of Eude Brito if/when 1 of our starters get hurt.

shame we didnt at least bring white back on a minor league deal or try out. he is doing pretty well for florida this spring as a non roster invite

Phillies are eyeing Toronto and the WhiteSox for bullpen help. I'll take anyone over what the Phillies have now. Just get another arm. It can't be that hard, can it?

Apparently they are eyeing Francisco Rosario who is out of options and would have to clear waivers before going back to AAA.

I would rather take a chance on Bauer than Clay Condrey. Bauer had a 3.57 Era last year with Texas in that ballpark that's pretty good.
