Pretty Weird how the Phillies paid Tampa Bay to claim him off waivers. I don't know alot about him, he's only 24, so he's worth a chance.

Bobby was supposed to be the next coming of Jamie Moyer when he was with the Mariners. He's the prototypical soft tossing lefty who has good command but doesn't strike out many people.
He's struggled in AAA and in his brief callup to the M's. But I guess there's no better place for him to learn his craft than from the Master himself. So it makes sense that the Phillies acquired him.

Yeah it's worth a shot. Thanks for the info Goose. We lost Gavin Floyd and Gio Gonzalez in the Freddy Garcia trade, so Livingston was added for depth. I kinda figured Livingston didn't throw hard because if he threw hard at his age, I don't think Seattle would have given up on him.

stupid MLB. If that's the case, you might as well get rid of the rule 5 draft because that's what happens there all the times. Teams take players then deal them to other clubs for cash.
