I would have pursued Julio Lugo to play third full time, instead of another platoon. I am not comfortable going into a season with a platoon at any position.
I would have signed Ray King to a deal, I think a move out of Colorado would help any pitcher and King was great St. Louis. I would have signed Tony Armas Jr. as a long reliever. If I couldn't get Lugo I would have went after Aubrey Huff I would have made a huge run at Manny as well |

It's hard to blame Gillick right now, but if he doesn't do anything by the time Spring Training comes by, I will be criticial of this non-off season. Baldelli would be nice too, but the Devil Rays asked for Cole Hamels in return, and were shot down quickly. I'd give up Floyd, Bourne and maybe Happ for Baldelli.

lol I can give Burrellone more chance, not only is the money a problem, but he is a rally killer. He stops the Phils offense from being as potent as it really should. IHe has no confidence and we have gave him chance. He looks at strikes all the time. He's a defensive liability and we can haVe that on the team going forward.

I think Lieber and Burrell are the two guys we should trade for some releivers, or a big bat to hit behind Howard.
