Default who is on your wish list ?

who do you realistically think we should go after this off season? we should have about 18 - 20 mil to spend.. obviously we desperately could use rafalski but thats probably not going to happen. no way we should be stupid and overpay any were close to 6 mil plus for timmonen or 7 mil for gomez

my wish list is:

fwd:
chris drury. great leader, playoff performer.. buffalo will probably have to choose between him and briere

bill guerin. this team needs a veteran scorer to take some pressure of all the youth. guerin seams to be the guy w/ the most left in the tank

fodetenko would be nice, he is a ufa and w/ the cap problems tampa has they probably wont resign him.. brad richards will probably be available but we shouldnt touch that contract w/ a 10 foot pole

maybe see what handzus is looking for in dollars and years.. a checking line of zus, richards and kapenan would be pretty solid and he would be our best face off man by far

defense. sheldon souray or markov from montreal. souray is a little suspect in his own end but this move would kill 2 birds w/ 1 stone. he would add instant toughness to our blue line and would greatly improve our power play. i dont think the habs will let markov go but if he is out there july 1st we have to make a move on him

if we go after a 2nd tier defenseman i would mind them taking a look at dave hannan on the sharks

Daniel Briere, Kimo Timinoen from Nashville, Sheldon Souray, Scott Gomez, Chris Drury.

I'd stay away from Fedotenko if I were the Flyers. All the other names I agree with though.

Love your username by the way. So true. That guy has been majority of the reason our sport has lost popularity in the last 15 years.

obviously you wont get an argument from me on that. he has totally ruined the sport for true hardcore fans and made it into a laughing stock trying to woody up to the "casual fan "

rumors are Tampa Bay wants to trade 1 of it's 3 stars. I'll trade the 2nd pick and Pitkanen for any one of Richards, Lecavilier, or St. Louis.

send Hatcher or Kapanen in the deal so the salaries could come close to matching.

Do not give up Downey or Giroux. Those 2 players will be stars in a few years.

I guess we'll see what Tampa Bay decides to do. That was the best deal out there and Clarke took it even though it was in the same division. All GM's are different when it comes to that stuff.
