Flyers sign Martin Biron to a 2yr extension

This is a great move by the Flyers, they needed to get him locked up after having such horrible time with goalies in the past few years.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Philadelphia Flyers have settled on their No. 1 goalie, signing Martin Biron to a $7-million, two-year contract on Tuesday.

Biron has been the regular goaltender since he was acquired from Buffalo for a second-round draft pick in late February. Biron, Buffalo's first-round pick in the 1995 draft, is 16-9-2 with a 3.01 GAA in 29 games this season and is 4-5-1 with a 2.96 GAA and .913 save percentage in 10 games with the Flyers.

Yeah I agree. Great move by the Flyers to get him locked up. I am glad we didn't waste that 2nd round pick that we traded away.
