Just curious how Dmitry has been playing for you guys so far in Philly? I'm hoping he finally realizes his potential at the NHL level.. It always seemed jsut beyond him in Tampa Bay...

played pretty strong the 1st 2 games but hasnt been anything special since. to his defense he has been playing on the 3rd and 4th lines w/ a bunch of stiffs like fedoruk and eager

That was the case in Tampa -- he couldn't stick on th etop lines (started out in Camp on Vincent Lecavalier's wing ) and then fell back to 3rd/4th line status...

He usually ocmes on stronger later in the eyar, but I don't know if that will mean much... He'll show flashes of brilliance and then the season will be over and you (Flyer fans) will have to forget what he did in the end because -- well, HE will forget what he was doing at the end

....I have been saying that for years with Bobby Clarke, and he's STILL tied to the Flyers even after gettign fired.

Suffice it to say, Affy may stick or he may not.. Even if the Flyers do massive retooling this off season.

clarke didnt get fired he resigned. he would have had that gm job for life if he wanted it

Ed Snider sometimes lets friendship gets in the way of Job Performance. Bob Clarke was like that, and Billy King is another.
