Clarke will not be GM again until after they win a Cup. Both the city and himself place too much pressure on his shoulders to bring this city it's first Stanley Cup since Clarkie was suiting up. I wouldn't mind seeing him back because I thought that for the duration of his tenure, he was very good at his job. He only lost it once the "new NHL" began and I think if given some time off away from the game, he can adapt to the "new NHL" style of managing and again be effective, but that is not in the near future.
