at least they saved some face bringing this guy in . i dont think the length of the deal will be an issue because we all know the eagles have no problem letting guys go if they dont feel like they are getting a bargain

I was stunned when I found out they signed a free agent wideout. Considering they said a few days ago they were happy with Reggie Brown and Hank Baskett as starting wide receivers. I think we really upgraded here, even Bethel Johnson is an upgrade over Greg Lewis.

The Eagles have a good receiver group now. With Curtis, Brown, Baskett, and Johnson, they have four receivers that are above average. There not star receivers, but Donovan doesn't need star receivers. Good pickup.

Seems that Stallworth in fact does have a history of having hammy problems ever since he came into the league.
Also on the Curtis signing,actually the Eagles don't tend to cut people they have signed, they don't resign some and they let others flat out walk but they don't cut that many still under contract, fwiw. |
