Default Cheeks' Job is Safe- Brown won't replace him

Quote:
Since Larry Brown rejoined the Philadelphia 76ers in an advisory role, speculation has been that he eventually will replace Maurice Cheeks as coach. Don't bet on it, according to team president Billy King.

"I've been upfront, direct and honest with Mo from Day One about this," King said. "I talked to him about it, and Larry has talked to him about it. Mo's picked his brain a few times since he's come back as a matter of fact. Mo is our coach."

I like Mo, but I bet eventually Brown will be coaching, even though he says he won't. It just seems odd that Brown came back, but oh well!

I think LB will be the next head coach of the 76ers, either this summer or early next season.
