Emery having off-ice issues again...

Ray Emery is being brought to court by a man who claims Emery threatened his life in a road rage incident. I don't know if Emery is a hot head, but if this is true, it sure doesn't help anything on ice with him being a distraction.

The Globe and Mail is reporting that Jean Therien is not after Emery's money, but will rather contribute any financial reward to charity.

"Am I doing this because it's Ray Emery?" Therien told the Globe and Mail. "My answer is categorically no. I would do this no matter who it was.

Emery needs to grow up. I really dislke his attitude off-ice. He represents the Ottawa Senators organization when in public. Totally classless.

I read the article. I don't understand how this man cuts someone off knowing the risks and then claims to sue and will give money to charity. Emery could easily turn around and sue that man for battery, and defamation if the elder is lying. The police did not lay charges so I do not know if Emery can even be charged, especially when he won't admit it and the police did not charge him.
