The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports the Raiders have engaged in preliminary trade talks with "several teams" regarding Randy Moss.
The Packers are believed to have spoken with Oakland, though that's not confirmed. There was a rumor that Brett Favre wants Moss on his team; the two are considered mutual admirers and share an agent. The St. Petersburg times believes he could be had for a third-rounder, but we suspect the Packers' second-round pick would bring Moss to Green Bay. Source: Green Bay Press-Gazette |

A second round pick? I'd do that. Donald Driver draws double teams as it is and finds a way to get open, so teams would have to stick to zones against us and almost never play man. Lucky for the Packers, they have a QB who can read zone coverages unlike the Raiders QBs of the Moss Era.

I wonder if Brett really thinks that. I mean, rumours are rumours and are usually not true.
I can say why he would want Moss. If you had Moss and Driver on both sides and a solid tight end in Bubba Franks you are going to go places. The bad thing is that the teams that the Pack are facing might go up and maybe run a 4-2 because their running game is so weak. I honestly think that if they get Moss they need to draft a Runningback in the first round such as Marshawn LYnch. This would be extremely hard for opposing Ds to go against. On the Raiders side, you could do a lot with a second round pick. They should draft Calvin Johnson in the first round who I might add has greatness in him to their roster in the first round. Then in the 2nd round they could try at Drew Stanton and maybe a Tackle to boost their weak offensive line.
