The eternal baseball fan debate....
Up until last night, I was convinced the low scoring was a tribute to the other side...but last night was particularly bad. I realise it's Opening Night and our expectations are heightened, but most everyone looked utterly confused in the box last night. Piazza & Chavie connected to a certain point, and Buck gets a rookie's pass, but I have a mild concern where the hitters' timing is concerned. A lot of fat pitches were served down the middle of the plate, but the best they could do was foul them off or connect for an infield tapper. Contreras looked good last night, but this was a problem even after he was pulled. Hopefully tonight they'll reach double-digits and this will all be moot... |

Well he certainly locked in Friday night...working the count well and making the Yanks recognize his presence. You could almost see a "That was me 6 years ago" gleam from one guy's eye coming from the Yankee dugout.

Speaking of him, I get this long spam about buying HGH and all the great things it can do. Do you guys ever get those? I should cut & paste text from one to start the discussion, eh?
HGH. Legal? Does it stop me from going into 'roid rage? Go A's! Later, RDB |
