Anyone else disappointed by Ruby's release? His bat seems to have come around and, one-dimensional as he may be, could've been been valuable enough to flip in a trade if nothing else.
Oh well... |

Me.
Todd Walker was considered more versatile than either DJ or Ruby I guess. Didn't look like that at 1st base early on yesterday though, but you gotta trust in the Good Beane, who shall provide. The three players that provided the most fodder for this spring on message boards among A's fans; Ruby, gone; DJ, on the shelf; JFK, pitching today. Hmmm. Fingers crossed for no more injuries. One more win vs Gigantes today and it will be 5-0-1 for the spring against them, no? Later, RDB |

Nat, you have a PM
I remember the Free Durazo noise back in the day. It seems that he never really did much with the time he did get.

A few weeks ago I launched my own blog about Seattle Sounders FC and Life in Puget Sound. I won't be by these parts often as my focus has changed. Sorry about the unannounced retirement. |
