Howdy,

Fanhome! Set the Wayback Machine to 1999.

AsAsAs is now back to being A'sA'sA's, which really makes a whole lot more sense. I always pictured people reading my name and being like: as...as...as......AS WHAT?!??! Stop stuttering!!!

I will propose quick links to the other team forums...that was a nice feature.

Job, would you be satisfied if it were by division (the links) instead of each individual team?

For example, the AL West division has it's own URL and you can see if a forum has been updated or not from that:

http://www.fanhome.com/forums/18_al-west

The quicklinks are possible to do. It just comes down to coding and implementing them on the template.

That is fine...I was just thinking that I liked the previous forum's feature that allowed you to choose a team and jump directly to that forum from your own forum or even within a topic.

I definitely like this forum setup better than Scout's---easier on the eyes, lots of space, & a lot closer to the look of the old pre-scout/fanhome board. Not like I was much of a contributor on the old board like the 3k or 6k post counts some have had, but I'll follow along like a good lemming and keep track of our Athletics here.

I've always be a lurker & avid reader of the core frequent posters and will probably continue to do so (Fuel68: new name --> Aesop68: old name).

GO A's!

ps- I'm definitely going to miss 'The Wave' emoticon just like I miss the Coliseum, pre-Mt. Davis-monstrosity.

I needed a vaction, and then work changed substantially. I'm over 50 hour weeks, plus two hours a day of commuting time. A few weeks ago I launched my own blog about Seattle Sounders FC and Life in Puget Sound. I won't be by these parts often as my focus has changed. Sorry about the unannounced retirement.
