It's great to see more A's fans coming back home. I'm a little biased, but I have to agreed that this place is way better than the "improved" Scout. FanHome is once again by fans, for fans.

So, can we bring emkey and Alameda back too?

Never been here before so this gives me an opportunity to expand. The other site at scout is seemingly so restricted now; or at least that is the way it seems.

Scout seems to have gone the way of the old ESPN boards. I'm mike92tsi over there, but this is an easier nickname for me to use

Guess the other site is still the best place to get news for the present (actually sportspyder is) but that is because it posts everybodies newsblurbs. Each site has its own benefits.

This one locked me out of my keyboard for some reason until I recycled the computer. Something about being on a key for 15 seconds.

Green Machine and Oakman in one site. Good to see everybody. They wouldn't allow me to use my old jw but oh well. Maybe the vibe will be different here.

I'm over 50 hour weeks, plus two hours a day of commuting time. A few weeks ago I launched my own blog about Seattle Sounders FC and Life in Puget Sound. I won't be by these parts often as my focus has changed. Sorry about the unannounced retirement.
