Bocachica might be a better prospect than Ledee. Guess we will just have to wait and see how valuable Ledee is.

I am really excited about this move, but that's mainly just because it is a move.

Ledee does strike me as the kind of guy who could go Mabry for a couple of months, though. Veteran player, not terribly old, has had some stretches of solid MLB play.

Kev, I agree. Ledee is an exciting player. I could never figure out why he never really lived up to his hype. I think, the more the merrier when it comes to camp. Ledee could be a good snag.....

Anyone else having trouble getting into the A's scout site? Nothing on most major sites regarding this signing of Ledee. Sierra signing on everywhere so what is the difference. Makes me wonder if this signing occurred or not.

It's an official signing. He's been invited to spring training as well.Both Melissa Lockard of scout and Susan Slussler of SF gate, (thank you to both), confirmed it for me. I've been having problems with links on Scout, too.

Yup. Ledee was once considered a top notch prospect for the Yankers. He was highly hyped by the New York media........
