A's sign Kevin Deaton

A's signed a minor league pitcher Kevin Deaton who seems to have spent a fair amount of time on D.L. since signing with Mets system in 2000. Signed sometime during offseason. No the pennant is not ours with this signing.

Pitched in Gulf Coast League last season; highest level is AA.

have you seen his batting average..?? his slugging..?? his ops..?? the pennant is ours..!!

Hey, he is an addition to the organization. I cannot help it if his numbers do not speak highly of him.

Deaton was once a prety good prospect before his arm woes. Maybe he'd surprise us all and have a great season????
