Slobo Ilijevski dies at the age of 58.

STLtoday - St. Louis soccer favorite Slobo Ilijevski dies at 58

I know most people here who even follow soccer have no clue who this guy was, but in the St. Louis area he was probably one of the most well known soccer players to have ever played the game. He is one of two players to have their numbers retired for the once great indoor soccer team the St. Louis Steamers. He also had a soccer camp for young soccer players throughout Missouri. I attended two of his camps and came away as a much better player because of it. I'm starting this thread to honor a man who I feel will always be a soccer legend, if not for him I may not enjoy the game of soccer as much as I do.

Thanks for all the great years of soccer that you gave the world Slobo. You will be missed!
