The Titans have traded for Mike Williams.....
For an undisclosed pick Assuming it will be a 5th or 6th rounder, i say its a good risk Vince needs someone to throw too and they have no WRs

it also cements CJ to Detroit. No more Bucs/Lions speculation
I like the Petersen pick... Minnesota has lacked a running back that was truly formidable since Robert Smith retired and became Doctor Robert Smith. Where's the next likely desitnation for Quinn? I see Green Bay picks at 16 but I don't know if they should go with a QB there... Buffalo is on the clock |

For a team that has been as dogged as thte Lions have been, that would be phenomenal. That would be a big draft and a big hype that would possibly secure things for Millen for at least another six months
It was funny listening to the talking heads on ESPN ragging on Quinn as much as they could -- "Doesn't perform in big games, overhyped, etc, etc" Then they were asked what Brady's upside was and they said "Oh, he's a steal at this point..." |

Surely GB will have to take Quinn if he falls to them, no? They just don't seem sold on Rodgers as the heir apperant.

You know what has been un-nerving for me after watching more than a decade of Paul Tagliabue reigning over the draft?
Goodell approaching the podium and being extremely casual announcing picks... Addressing the fans before picks. |

The Jets have traded with the Panthers up to the 14th pick....Jets also gave up their 1st ( 25th ) 2nd ( 59th ) and 5th round pick
Jets GAVE UP ALOT Assuming its to take Leon Hall or the Pitt DB

Will Rodgers (Cal) be any better? I dunno.
Agreed the Jets way overpaid. And I like the more laid back commish reading, too.

I liked Hall better than Revis, but I suppose they 'got their guy'. Lots to pay for him, though.

You can't say the weather will be an ill factor for QUinn in Green Bay if he goes that way. I mean, crap, he played in South Bend Indiana! It's not different from Green Bay but it's the same mid-west weatherto a degree.
Hell, Brett Farve is a southerner. Who would have thought he'd do well in that weather? Rodgers isn't liked by packer fans (where is BMW?!?) and I could see GB going QB but their needs are many... |

Yes Quinn played in the same area.....but keep in mind the Knock on Quinn is he doesnt throw a great ball and doesnt have a strong arm....
That doesnt bode well if your going to be the QB of the Packers
