The Bills are a promising young team. What are they thinking trading their cornerstone and face of their franchise away? With a good season, he could single handedly put them in the playoffs. Losman is getting better and their defense will get better this offseason. I can't believe they would screw up this bad. Unless they plan on starting Anthony Thomas...

they don't like his attitude. it has never been good. also, he had a low YPC this season (probably more his team's fault than his own). He hasn't shown anything special since his 1st (?) year in the league. Everyone had huge expectations of him after that and he hasn't lived up to them. he himself a year or two ago said he was the best RB in the league and that he was going to run for 2000 yards. that certainly hasn't happened. You can sit there and say his team has been bad and that has hurt him, but if he truly is a great RB, he would make his team good. Look at LT. He was great before the chargers were any good. his team couldn't hold him back. look at Corey dillon when he played for the Bengals. Look at Frank Gore this past season. if McGahee was everything he himself thought he was, then he'd but putting up 1400 yards per season even on a bad team.

I know i am late on this one...but as a Bills fan i should comment. Like the poster above said, McGahee has shown very little since his "red shirt" year. Good line or bad line, he just hasn't produced...unless it is against the Jets. But unfortunately we don't play the Jets 16 times a year. Also, over the last few years there has been a slow progression, around the whole league, to diminish a RB's value to his team, even a so called "star". RB's just aren't valued by there teams as much as they used to be, unless your initials are LT.
