Default If your team needed to draft a QB in 2007

Brady Quinn was the pre-season #1 College QB but I think there have been some doubts raised about him and some other prospects have raised some eyebrows.

Which QB would you want your team to draft if you had your choice of all of them?

Quinn will be a good QB, but not close to the hype that surrounds him. Russell is the way to go, he’s big strong, and fast… in five years he will be able to turn around a franchise. He reminds me of Daunte Culpepper… except he’s actually going to be good.

The only downside of Russell is that he’s going to have to sit for a few years to learn the system and get used to the NFL… that’s why I think the Raiders are the best fit for him.

Well, I hope the Texans stay as far as way from Joey Harrington Jr and don't even draft him if he drops to the 2nd round. Now, Russell, Brohm, and Smith will all be good quarterbacks in the NFL. Two other names to look out for are Kevin Kolb and Isaiah Stanbeck.

Of the ones listed I will take Brohm

My darkhorse, who I think has a legit chance to be the best QB in this draft is Drew Stanton. If he can ever get his head straight and correct his mental mistakes the kid has all the talent in the world. Big time arm, has more mobility than almost anyone not named Vick or Young.

Anyone who drafts Stanback better plan to use him as a wide reciever, because the kid can't throw.

That should be enough right there to say... 'Oh HELL NO!'

I see this guy being another huge disappointment

I think Jamarcus Russell will be the best pro after seeing him play on Wednesday night. He played an outstanding game and the almost 60 yard TD he threw to Brandon LaFell he made seem effortless. He really has the arm.

I don't think it is a knock to say he reminds most people of Daunte Culpepper. Daunte at one time was a really good QB. He still could be next season. He's just been hurt the last two years.

But if you are looking at who will make the best QB right away out of college I would say Troy Smith.

Hellwig, I am not sure Russell reminds me of Culpepper but Daunte has shown he has some serious flaws in his game. He's a Jekylll and Hyde! Yes you can throw out this season because of injuries but you cannot discount how disastrous last season was before he was injured. 2005 was not just a bad season...it was disgusting right up to the point he blew out his knee! I don't know what to make of C-Pep...between 2000 and 2005 he had three excellent seasons, two awful ones, and one mediocre one.

2000, 2003, and 2004 : 264 passing yards per game with 97 TDs and 38 INTs. 28 rushing yards per game with 13 rushing TDs.

2001, 2002, and 2005 : 236 passing yards per game with 38 TDs and 48 INTs. 34 rushing yards per game with 16 rushing TDs.

Let's not forget he fumbled the ball 84 times over that period (about one per game) and lost 35 of them!

I voted other. John Beck fo BYU is going to be a gem for the team that snags him up in the middle rounds of the draft

I think Russell is a bust. I can not explain it, but it is a gut feeling.
