New York Times (registration required): "Pavano will probably enter spring training as the No. 5 starter, although the prospect Philip Hughes is lurking. It is also possible that if Pavano pitches effectively and shows no signs of fragility, the Yankees could trade him."

Let him pitch and deal him in June or July. Hopefully he proves he is "healthy". Reminds of Wood and Prior for the Cubs. No way they could unload either last year.
