I gave Padilla some thought. I like the fact that he had a good season last year with Texas and also isn't scared of hitting a batter when it needs to be done. The Yankees need some of that. But I went with Lilly because as a lefty he pitches to the bigger part of the field....Death Valley.

Ted Lilly cause he has a nasty curveball and now that he is more mature and has developed as a pitcher he should do better in NY this time. He also is a consistant pitcher as far as Wins and Loses go.
Look at his stats last year: REC 15-13 | SV 0 | ERA 4.31 | WHIP 1.43 and 160 K's with a .254 BAA Good but if he had like 11 loses or so it would look better IMO.
