Default Yankees could get Mike Gonzalez?

Newsday - In an effort to upgrade their bullpen, the Yankees have discussed a three-way trade with Pittsburgh and Atlanta, the basics of which would send Melky Cabrera to the Braves, bring Pirates closer Mike Gonzalez to the Bronx and give Atlanta first baseman Adam LaRoche to the Pirates.

I would be happy if we did this trade but i would also be sad because then we are losing our future . Melky played great for us last year and it would be sad to see him go to the braves (Did i mention i hate the braves). The good part is i would get to see him play since i live in atlanta .

Do you guys think this would be a smart trade to do?

I'd like Gonzalez, but not if it's going to cost the Yankees Melky.

I'd love to have Gonzalez, but I'm concerned about his elbow and I don't want to give up Melky unless it's for overwhelming compensation. Simply on a cost-value basis, I think the previously rumored deal of Kevin Thompson for Damaso Marte would be a better value.
