Default Idea From YES

On YES Network's "Yankees Hot Stove" last night, an emailer suggested that now that Eric Gagne is with Texas, they might be willing to trade the Yankees Akinori Otsuka for Carl Pavano, as the Rangers need starters badly. What would you think of such a deal?

I like that idea because we dont know how Pavano will pitch and we do know what Otsuka can do. I doubt that will happen because the Rangers dont know if Gagne will be the same as before.

It certainly won't happen now. If both Pavano and Gagne show in spring training that they're healthy and they both look like they are pitching teh way they have previously, then it might take place then.
