Guiel Non-Tendered

The Yankees did not tender a contract to OF Aaron Guiel. Right now, Josh Phelps and Andy Phillips would compte for 1B (although Juan Miranda is a dark horse) and Melky Cabrera, Kevin Thompson, and Kevin Reese would likely be backup OFs. I think this helps open a spot for Bernie, but the Yankees also still need to find a good utility IF. (And a backup C - maybe the non-tendered Toby Hall?)

I don't know if Hall wants to be a backup at this point. I'm all for bringing Fasano back.
