Brad Isbister acquired from Carolina

With this trade i think Orr's days as a Ranger are numbered. I think Isbister gives the Rangers a tough guy who can skate and even score from time to time. If he proves himself i think Orr is either in Hartford or released.

well a date that comes to mind is 12/3...Rangers/Islanders the first meeting between the two. Maybe set the tone.

I like this trade for the Rangers. Brad Isbister should be a good third/fourth liner for the Rangers.

Isles fan here. If you set that as your expectations... you'll be satisfied. 3 nights a year he looks like Eric Lindros in his prime... but if you don't get deceived by that and don't expect to much from Izzy... he'll fit in nicely as a 3rd or 4th liner... otherwise he'll drive you nuts.

Damn... looking forward to playing you guys! I think the Isles, Rangers and Devils are the best in the Atlantic by far. Should be a fun "Patrick Division" type year for metro hockey fans!
