Default Fire Sather

I said it. Jump on the bandwagon. Last year was a fluke, he has no clue how to build a team.

Well, he brought in the right players last year. I think letting Rucchin go was a huge mistake. I saw him a lot in Anaheim...he is good with young players which is what the Rangers needed last season. He's also good on the power kill. He almost had to let Sykora walk, no one would have predicted the start that he had this season.

But all he really did was bring in Shannahan. I think Cullen was a good move - but I didn't like getting rid of Domonick Moore.

My opinion last year was to leave the team alone because once he started to tinker it would fall apart. See the entrance of Ozolinsh as an example.

He really seems to be inept at the art of putting together a good team. I mean, I don't know much about him in the past...I know he won a lot of Cups with the Oilers, but even Garth Snow could win Cups with Gretzky, Messier and Fuhr on his team!

I'm all for starting up the Fire Sather! chants on Thursday...as well as replacing Potvin with Sather.

If they don't make the playoffs, it is a step backwards and Sather has to go. Lets see how it plays out.

Hey Rules! Great to see you back!!

Looks like it's just me and you in here bro... Which, actually brings back memories of it's own from the very first site(Hockeyboards). Those were the days of my long 15-post fancy gameday threads. If my memory serves correct, I believe it was just NYRAJF, BB, you and me posting on the NYR boards during that era of the site. And, I think we also had another visitor (an Isles fan) by the name of Bossy who always stopped by whenever the NYR/NYI played...but that was pretty much it during those days. Do you remember?
