Great news indeed...hopefully Sanchez can pitch as well as he did last season. He will need to anchor the pen, considering Heilman may be traded...

Last year when I heard that he went down, it was a blow. I was anticipating Omar to be able to bolster an already strong team to make it even stronger. Instead, he had to take out a small but important cog in a potent offense to lessen the impact that the loss of Duaner caused to the bullpen. He had to weaken something, the offense, in order to lessen the weakness to our bullpen. He pulled it off, but Roberto was no Duaner. That injury affected not only our staff, but the whole team.
It is great to have him back. Hopefully, he can become his old self. I had more faith in him than in Heilman or even Wagner for that matter. joe |

Hopefully there is no drop-off because some pitchers are never the same after the type of surgery he required. Quite a few pitchers never regained their velocity fully making them inefective. Im hoping this isnt the case with Sanchez because he is our best reliever.
