No link yet, but just reported on ESPNEWS, reportedly a 3 year deal worth $24 million.
Michael Kim (ESPN Anchor) followed by saying: "Well the Phillies really need pitchers and every pitcher they get is a pitcher the Mets don't get" Not such a big loss here, especially at that price. This could actually help us if it means the Phils will be less likely to break the bank for a Zito type pitcher. |

Not to much to worry about here, a guy that has never had a sub-4.00 ERA in his career. Glad we didn't waste $8 M a year on this guy. I would much rather have Padilla who the Phils just let go. |

I did not want the Mets to sign Adam Eaton, so it dos not bother me that he did not sign with the Mets.
Eaton is a good pitcher and is a nice addition to the Phillies starting rotation, but the Phillies just have to hope he stays healthy. And three years is risky for an injury prone player. |

all i have to say about this is good for the Phillys and that i dont care who Adam Eeaton ended up with as long as it wasn't us b/c he is just like kfkorn said hes to injury prone for that kind of contract
